Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro equipped with new chip, AI and 4x zoom camera

Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro will be released in the fall, and they will both use Google’s first custom processor tensor. Although these two phones have not yet been fully disclosed, Google has previewed these two phones and hinted at what we should expect from the design and the vital camera. However, if you want to look for something on the Google Pixel Fold, unfortunately, there is none right now.

What is Google Tensor? Google said that custom processors are designed to better manage the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning-Google’s two major strengths-on mobile phones and help bring new features to mobile phones. The most exciting thing is that Tensor is customized for Google’s computational photography technology, which makes the Pixel camera a winner in the past.

Google did not specify which features Tensor will enable outside of the camera, but it does say that it will work with the Titan M2 security chip to make it highly secure and bring a new and more personalized experience to the voice recognition system. Google Assistant has always occupied a prominent position in Pixel phones. It seems that the Tensor chip will further enhance its capabilities. With the Tensor chip, voice commands, subtitles, translation and dictation will be improved.

What about the hardware? Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be made of aluminum, the standard Pixel 6 will have a matte aluminum finish, and the Pixel 6 Pro will have a polished bezel. Each model will be available in three different colors. The new hardware design will obviously match the Android 12 “Material You” design, combining hardware and software to make the product more cohesive and feel more natural to use.

The camera will be upgraded, and Google hinted at a larger sensor than before, which means redesigning the camera module on the body. According to netizens’ posts, Pixel 6 Pro will be equipped with three cameras, one is a telephoto lens, which can provide 4x optical zoom. However, Pixel 6 will not be equipped with a telephoto camera. Both will set a selfie camera in the punch hole at the top center of the screen. Want a way to distinguish the phone in the official photos? Compared with the standard Pixel 6, the Pixel 6 Pro has more fuselages above the camera module.

This attractive preview of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro makes us excited to learn more. It is becoming the most innovative Pixel phone to date, and the promise of further improvements to the camera means that its arrival is not fast enough. However, Google did not say when it will share more detailed details, only that the new Pixel phones will be launched in the fall. The Pixel 5 made its debut on October 15, 2020, so it is reasonable to expect that Pixel 6 phones will come to me at the same time this year.
